Awesome little local joint. The people are fantastic. The food was delicious. Reuben and pierogis sampler were amazing. I had never been here but was hungry late. This came up on maps. I had seen it but never went in. I called them 15 min before close and the dude took my order and i headed there. I was only 9 minutes away but wanted to be sure i could order. They were fantastic.

As other reviews have indicated, this is a bar. Some say it is a dive bar. It is a welcoming place where you find friendly people and good service. The food is what's worthy to review. The French onion soup has moved to the #1 spot on my personal French onion soup tour. The burgers are excellent and the French fries crispy and nongreasy. The interesting twist is the perogies. The have a perogi of the day. I believe they are freshly made. Definitely worth a stop, if you haven't been there. Update: We stopped again and the French onion was just as amazing and so was the smashburger.

8-25-24. First time diner at this long standing bar. I was impressed with the huge amount of food I received. I ordered the turkey Club with onion rings. It came with a pickle as well. They are open late, which is unusual for Venice. I will definitely be back. It is a little bit of a hole in the wall, but it has character.

Yes dive bar, great for me. Yes great service from Amanda and Yes some colorful folks. Beer 1degree above freezing. Food was amazing. Only thing I have is I could've used smash Sliders instead of a dbl patty full size burger cause after I eat that have to take a nap before I can drink more beverages. Not the worst problem to have tho.
